International day of Peace at CARSA

Every year CARSA celebrate the world Peace day and CARSA event always happen around September 21st which the International Day of Peace in all 30 Peace Club schools.

In this event the peace club members get the opportunity to showcase their talent through delivering message of peace via song, poetry, film, testimony, and debate.
In this event, district leadership, CARSA staff, headmasters of the host schools, and teachers delivered speeches at each of the sites.
They talked about recovering from conflicts caused by their families or Rwanda’s history, and learning to resolve conflicts in healthy ways. Now they are helping their families and friends to be free from such conflict.
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE : at Parliament
21st September, Rwanda’s National Unity and Reconciliation Committee (NURC) partnered with an organization called Never Again Rwanda to celebrate with civil society and peace building organization at Parliament. The event focus on the role of youth in promoting peace and sustainable development, and CARSA was invited to select students and teachers from Peace Clubs to attend the celebrations.
