Serving post-genocide Rwandan communities holistically towards reconciliation is based on cell groups. These are the nucleus of transformation in the surrounding community.
We encourage groups of 20-30 to be formed from the participants of trauma healing and reconciliation workshops, mainly survivors and offenders of the genocide.
Cell groups meet regularly and invite people from their community who did not attend the workshop, allowing members to share their experiences in their healing process and support one another in physical and emotional needs.
As such, cell groups act as a platform of lasting reconciliation and transformation.
