Our vision and values
Our vision is to have a society where holistic peace, solidarity, and unity in diversity are established.
Our vision
Our vision is to have a society where holistic peace, solidarity, and unity in diversity are established.
Through initiatives like Empower workshops, Cow for Peace, Peacebuilding and Resilience Cell Groups (RCGs), CARSA facilitates healing and social cohesion by bringing together genocide survivors and perpetrators. These programs foster trust, shared responsibility, and help communities overcome psychological, social, and economic challenges, as well as contribute to a more unified and resilient Rwandan society.
To pursue this vision, we have four core programs as a working model:
Psychological Healing & Reconciliation
Improving Community Livelihood
Peace-building
Youth Empowerment
Our mission
Our mission is to empower communities by fostering resilience, restoring broken relationships, and catalyzing sustainable holistic development.
We equip and train youth, students, and church leaders, to empower them to live in harmony and become agents of healing, reconciliation, and peace in their communities.
We train and promote unity in diversity among young leaders, build relationships and develop character to enable them to be a source and agents of holistic transformation of the nation.
We bring together genocide survivors and perpetrators and assist them with welfare opportunities in various peace-building, solidarity, cohesion, and collaborative holistic development initiatives so that all people regard themselves as Rwandans may participate without being identified and separated by ethnicity.
Our values
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world” (James 1:27)
“So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:16-20)
